This past weekend kicked off round 1 of the JBRL Nitro Series in Beaumont, CA at Thunder Alley R/C Raceway. There was a huge turnout with a total of 235 entries that came from all over California, Arizona, Nevada, and even a few from Illinois.
Tekins own Adam Drake would take the Amain in Pro E-Buggy from start to finish. The E-Buggy final turned into a bit of a mud race as storms rolled in but Adams Tekin powered TLR 8 2.0e would power through the mud to a victory. 2nd place would have TLR driver Kellen Freeman choosing Tekin for his TLR ride giving him 2nd. Ronda Drake would take 3rd with her Tekin powered TLR 8 2.0e. Adam Drake would TQ all 3 pro classes: Pro Buggy, Pro Truggy and Pro E-Buggy.
Both Adam and Ronda used the Tekin Rx8 and T8 1900 motor to power their TLR rides to the podium. Great Job guys!
