Had a great weekend in Omaha at the Tekno RC 1/8 Winter Series Rd1! Alex built an awesome layout to run on, thanks to him for putting on this series every year! I had a solid day of qualifying, taking both E-buggy quals for the overall TQ and 2nd in Nitro Buggy! Going into the mains I knew it would be an awesome race with Seth, Mason and I, and that it was! We battled back and fourth for the first few laps and I was able to come into the lead and stay there for a few minutes until just shorting the triple and crashing through the gap in the track wall. After that I fell back a ways to 3rd, I put my head down and caught up with Mason and after swapping positions a few times got solidly into second. At that point Seth had ran a great race and I was too far back to try and catch up, coming home second! In E-buggy, my EB48 was feeling awesome and I would lead tone to tone with an 11 second victory! Shoutout to all my Sponsors for providing me with the best equipment!
