Over Easter weekend New Zealand held their Electric Off-Road Nationals. It turned out to be a great weekend with fine weather and a very technical but very fun track.
The locals were visited by a top Australian driver who turned out to be very much the class of the field taking TQ and winning both 2WD Mod and 4WD mod.
Tekin's Darren Johnston qualified 3rd in 2WD mod and improved to 2nd in the finals being the only car managing not to be lapped by our Australian pro.
In 4wd mod Darren qualified 4th but had mechanical problems with the car and dropped to 6th in the finals.
