Kevin Jelich takes the Mod 2wd Buggy win at the 2nd Annual Golden State Electric Challenge at Lakeport Hobbies and Raceway! Taking home the hardware and the cash!
Kevin was in contention from the start laying down Tq runs nearly every qualifier running a Tekin RS Pro with a Redline 10.5 motor. Kevin utilized the new Vegas 2.0 software to propel his 10.5 to mod buggy speeds saying “This is the best mod buggy power package I’ve ever had”. Great Job Kevin!!
Kevin also took 3rd in the hotly contested 1/8 Electric class having a shot at the Title but having mechanical issues in the last main still taking home hardware! Tekin dominated the 1/8 class having over half the field running the Rx8 and T8 Redline motors.
Blake Cannon took 3rd in the Pro Open SCT class with his Tekin Powered HPI Blitz using a Tekin RS and Redline 8.5 motor. Blake also walked away $50 richer!
