Tekin Tq’s and Wins Open Expert Truggy and Open Expert Buggy at the first ever 1/8 Electric Roar Champs!

Tekin’s very own Randy Pike Tq’d and won the Open Expert Truggy division at the first ever 1/8 Roar Champs held at Revelation Raceway. Randy was running the Tekin Rx8 Speedo with a Tekin T8 Redline 2000kv truggy motor powered by a Thunder Power 4s. The smooth controllable power of the Sensored D2 Dual Drive mode of the Tekin system allowed him to get out to a quick lead and slowly stretch it out to nearly 20 seconds ahead of the field by the end. Close behind was Ty Campbell running another Tekin RX8 System powered by a 2250kv T8 Redline claiming 2nd in convincing fashion. Ty also claimed 3rd in Roar Pro Truggy!

The Tekin team wasn’t done yet. Jeremy Potter placed 1st in Expert Open Buggy running a Tekin Rx8/1900kv system followed as close as anyone could be wheel to wheel with fellow teammate Nick Sava getting 2nd! Clearly the closest finish of the weekend requiring review by officials.

Expert ROAR Buggy also saw Jeremy Potter taking 2nd (Rx8/1900kv) with Ty Campbell taking 3rd (Rx8/2050kv) and Randy Pike 4th all within seconds of each other.
